— PCC Community Markets announced Krishnan “Krish” Srinivasan, a former finance executive at Lyft and Seattle startup Remitly, as its new CEO today. He has served as CFO of the Seattle-based grocery co-op since 2018.

The announcement comes after a five-month search following the departure of former PCC President and CEO Suzanne Monford, a former QFC executive who stepped down after less than a year.

Srinivasan is currently a board member of the National Co+op Grocers. Prior to Lyft, he served as a regional CFO for Amazon and previously was a general manager at Microsoft.

“PCC has been a special place for my family and I ever since we became co-op members more than two decades ago,” said Srinivasan.

PCC Community Markets currently has 16 stores in the Puget Sound region and more than 100,000 co-op members.

— Online cannabis marketplace Leafly appointed startup veteran Jeff Oberlander as SVP of engineering. He was most recently CTO at Seattle startup Pipeline CRM and previously and engineering leader at Navigating Cancer and Getty Images. Leafly said this week it raised $30 million ahead of an expected SPAC merger. A vote on the merger is now delayed, Leafly said.

— Microsoft and Amazon alum Jason Ing is now chief marketing officer at Mural, a visual collaboration tool. He was most recently director and general manager of global marketing for Amazon Web Services.

Ing previously led marketing initiatives for Amazon Prime Video and Microsoft’s Xbox Live. He will continue to be based in the Seattle area.

Mural currently has 27 employees in the Seattle area, all working remotely. Other executives based in the Pacific Northwest include:

  • VP of Design Kit Unger, a former UX director at Smartsheet.
  • Head of Product and Community Pranish Kumar, a 20-year Microsoft veteran.
  • SVP of Engineering Kirby Frugia, a New Relic and HP alum.
  • VP of Marketing Christina Koch, a former Tableau marketing manager.
