Ariel Dos Santos, former vice president of product and technology at Peloton, has joined Seattle real estate giant Redfin as vice president of product.
“Redfin is a product that I’ve absolutely LOVED for many many years and I’m excited to work with some brilliant folks to continue making it better,” Dos Santos wrote on LinkedIn.
Dos Santos joined Peloton in 2021. He previously spent more than six years at Amazon, where he helped launch the company’s “Just Walk Out” technology that powers its cashierless grocery locations. He also worked at Microsoft for more than two years.
“Redfin’s mission to redefine real estate in the consumer’s favor is inspiring, motivating, and personally important to me as an immigrant,” Dos Santos wrote. “I’m thrilled to be joining the team and looking forward to seeing what we can do to redefine real estate in the consumer’s favor.”
Redfin surpassed earnings expectations in the first quarter, reporting revenue of $597.3 million (up 123%), as CEO Glenn Kelman expressed optimism about its prospects for gaining share in an increasingly difficult market for home sales.
