After processing hundreds of nominations and convening a community-based judging panel, we are excited to announce more than 50 finalists in the 2022 GeekWire Awards.  The breadth of this year’s finalists showcases the amazing entrepreneurial spirit of the Pacific Northwest, with innovations ranging from cutting-edge robotics to life-altering medical therapies to practical software systems.

Today, we are kicking off voting in a dozen categories — everything from Startup of the Year to Next Tech Titan to Workplace of the Year. Go here to cast your ballot, or do so in the embedded ballot below.

Who will win the robot trophy at this year’s GeekWire Awards?

Public voting will run through April 22, and then we’ll announce the winners live on-stage at the GeekWire Awards on May 12.

We’ll also feature the finalists over the next few weeks on GeekWire, with editorial posts on each category.

In addition to the voting on the ballot, we’ll also celebrate honorees in two other categories. The STEM Educator of the Year, presented by DreamBox Learning, recognizes the work of science and technology teachers in the Pacific Northwest. And the Geeks Give Back Award, presented by BECU, recognizes the impact of non-profit and community groups in the region.

We’re excited to reconvene for the in-person GeekWire Awards, especially after two years of hosting the event virtually during the pandemic. We have a limited number of table sponsorships available for the big evening, and if interested please contact us at events@geekwire.com.

Now in its 14th year, the GeekWire Awards are one of the most hotly-anticipated events in the Seattle tech community, bringing together more than 1,000 geeks to celebrate innovation and the entrepreneurial spirit. Past winners have included Auth0, Tableau, Smartsheet, Remitly, Swype, Redfin, Convoy, Zulily, University of Washington computer scientist Ed Lazowska, DreamBox Learning CEO Jessie Woolley-Wilson, TAF and many others.

A big thanks to Astound Business Solutions, the presenting sponsor of the 2022 GeekWire Awards.

Also, thanks to gold-level and category sponsors: Wilson Sonsini, ALLtech, JLL, DreamBox Learning, Blink UX, BECU, Baird, Fuel Talent, RSM, Aon and Meridian Capital. And thanks to silver level sponsors: J.P. Morgan Chase and Material+.

If interested in sponsoring a category or purchasing a table sponsorship for the event, contact us at events@geekwire.com.
